A Shame, A Shame

Residual spirits are a common yet unique manifestation of ghosts, often just a form of "recording" of an individuals last moments. In my opinion, this is the supernaturalist counterpart to single-celled organisms in biology. Nonetheless, she is as much a disciple as the rest of them. If you’re following me to study my findings and learn from them, consider this an introductory presentation. I present to you, the case of Miriam Loveland.

Miriam is a barely conscious entity, if you can even assign that much meaning to a residual spirit like her. Spirits like this are more so repeating loops across an electromagnetic spectrum. Comparatively to the other disciples, she is by far the most well known and documented. Often appearing around Severna Park under specific circumstances.

Discussion began as early as 2000 on various forums, the earliest found is on a now defunct website; HauntedMaryland.com. The following is an excerpt I was able to recover from the Severna Park sector of this forum

I am really scared, last night I walked with my brother and sister we past a house and my sister said it was haunted. It looked dead and rotten and we all heard big banging coming from the house. We got home and read stories on the website and after we finished them all I can not sleep now because I am very scared and I see the man when I go to sleep. The house is down the road from my house and I hate it so much. You tend to downplay accidents don’t you

I’m a junior in high school right? I got my permit and everything to park because the school I go to is about a 20-minute drive and I can’t stand buses. I take the same route to school every morning and especially around the more wetter areas it gets foggy on a rainy day. It was late September or early October or something but I was doing my morning commute, trying to be careful because of the amount of fog. Around the bridge I swear I hit someone, I HIT someone. The vague shape of a person flew right into the front of my damn car and dispersed into that morning’s mist. I was late to school that morning trying to find the body I hit. Were they wrong for their headlights were off

Now, every now and then, when the weather is calm and misty or whatever, the silhouette of a woman wades between the road. It’s like, if there IS fog, wherever she is, the fog isn’t. The glimpses I got of her I could see through her clearly, like a normal day and not what’s around her, blissfully unaware almost. She visits every now and then on my way to school. I have kind of accepted her as a small part of my life now, whether I’m crazy or not.Or were you not meant to be catching frogs

I found this while going on a night walk. Let me tell you, when you’re sitting in your kitchen late at night. Absolutely no sound in the house and you find this backed up in your camera. That quietness gets real suffocating let me tell you. It was a foggy evening that night, and I’m into creepy shit. So SNAP, didn’t think much else of that night. I’m not even scared anymore man, just real fucking curious. Never been much of a believer, but now I am. Can someone here tell me what the hell they think this is? I think this is the rainwoman. And yet, you only can haunt the rain
